I grew up in St. Paul, MN, where I lived with my mother and three sisters after my father left when I was eight. From a young age, I learned the value of hard work, mowing lawns and shoveling snow to contribute to my family. A generous neighbor's selflessness deeply impacted me, inspiring a lifelong commitment to helping others. Throughout my career, I have strived to provide the best possible outcomes, even creating new opportunities within previous roles. Like my neighbor, I am committed to giving back, volunteering with various organizations.
I reside in Burnsville, MN, with my family. My wife, who joined me at Business and Family Advisors LLC after leaving her corporate career, and I have three children: Soren, Annika, and Leia. Soren is currently in college, aspiring to join the financial planning field. I enjoy staying active and spending time with my family, often taking them to the wilderness property I visited with my parents and grandparents. It's a beautiful, untouched escape from city life. We also enjoy fishing at Rainy Lake, hunting, and watching hockey games together.
My community involvement includes being part of the Burnsville MVN unit, where I volunteer as an "On Call" member to assist police and fire departments at city events. Additionally, I've been coaching competitive soccer for 15 years, helping kids learn both the game and life skills. I have coached all three of my children and previously served as a board member and tournament director for local soccer clubs.
Recently, I joined the board of Prince of Peace Church, motivated by leadership changes and the opportunity to positively shape the church's future. I look forward to contributing to creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for both kids and adults.
